Specialized Technique for Dogs with a Course Wire Coat (Border Terriers, Cairn Terriers, Schnauzer, Spaniels, Wirehair Pointing Griffon, etc.) Hand stripping involves the removal of a blown or dead top coat by hand. The hair is hand pulled to ensure that the wire coat is able to maximize its weather resistant texture as well as exfoliating the skin underneath. It redistributes the natural oils in the coat to give a beautiful shine & feel to the coat. It can also reduce dandruff & other skin issues. Must not be previously clipped. Service Includes: Stripping Carding, Sanitary Trim, Face Trim Paw, Pad, and Foot Trim, Nail Trim & Grind, Ear Cleaning. Bathing is an optional add on, but we do not recommend it on the same day as stripping.
