Haircut Groom (X-Small Dog)

Specialized Technique for Dogs with a Course Wire Coat (Border Terriers, Cairn Terriers, Schnauzer, Spaniels, Wirehair Pointing Griffon, etc.) Hand stripping involves the removal of a blown or dead top coat by hand. The hair is hand pulled to ensure that the wire coat is able to maximize its weather resistant texture as well as exfoliating the skin underneath. It redistributes the natural oils in the coat to give a beautiful shine & feel to the coat. It can also reduce dandruff & other skin issues. Must not be previously clipped. Service Includes: Stripping Carding, Sanitary Trim, Face Trim Paw, Pad, and Foot Trim, Nail Trim & Grind, Ear Cleaning. Bathing is an optional add on, but we do not recommend it on the same day as stripping.

Introduction to Grooming. Focusing on creating a positive grooming relationship. The puppy’s first service is a combination grooming/training session. The focus is on table training and desensitization, positive association with grooming and equipment. We work with your puppy on safe handling to set the puppy up for a successful and low stress grooming future. Ideally a puppy’s first is done by 4 months of age, but we offer the service up to 6 months old. All breeds can benefit from a puppy's first service. We recommend a full groom appointment 4 weeks after introduction for puppies who need a haircut.
